Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Finds New Life in 2025 at Mohegan Sun Arena: Tickets, Venue, Timings, Here’s All We Know

Taylor Swift will not be performing live for a while. Thousands of fans were in tears after the singer wrapped up her final show of the record-breaking Eras Tour. And it looks like the aftershocks of the tour have not fully worn off for the fans. As a result, dedicated Swifties are finding their own ways to relive the electrifying musical celebration of Swift. Recently, a band devoted to the pop queen announced one such tribute.

They are paying homage to Swift’s tour with a fun new show at a popular American casino, which is going to be very similar to Eras Tour.

Even though Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has come to a close, one tribute band, Taylor Nation, is doing their best to give Swifties a little slice of that experience in Connecticut next month. The tribute show, called Taylor Nation: A Tribute to All Eras of Taylor Swift, will feature the top live band singing along with the iconic pop star. It will feel just like the Eras Tour, with songs from all of Swift’s 11 eras. The show will kick off at 4 PM on Sunday, February 2nd, live from Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets for the show will go on sale on January 10th via Ticketmaster.com.

Fans wanting in on the tribute experience can also grab tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office on Saturday, January 11th, as long as they are still available. As per the Retro Podcast the idea to start a Taylor Swift tribute came from the band’s keyboard player, David Yuter. They decided to go for it with the hope that it would lead to bigger and better opportunities, since they mostly performed at weddings and corporate…

Brandywine Valley Trail Plan Is A Go

The Brandywine Valley Trail Plan at First State National Historical Park can move forward. The plan defines a designated shared-use 27.8-mile trail network that will provide high-quality recreational opportunities, promote visitor safety and enjoyment and preserve connectivity with leased property within the Brandywine Valley section of the park and neighboring properties.

Today, the National Park Service (NPS) issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the plan. In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the EA considers alternatives, including a no-action alternative, as well as environmental impacts. The EA was presented to the public during three public meetings and was available for public comment from July 2, 2024 to August 1, 2024. After consultation with the Delaware Tribe of Indians, Delaware Nation, the Delaware State Historic Preservation Office, the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office and local government and considering public comments, the NPS selected the proposed action alternative.

The selected action will:

  • Designate a 27.8 mile shared-use trail network, which includes the administrative roads. All trails will be open to hiking, equestrian use and bicycling (including Class 1 and Class 3 e-bikes). The trail network incorporates 15 miles of existing trails and will add 8.5 miles of new trails (to be constructed). The NPS will close and restore to natural condition a total of 8.1 miles of trails. In addition, 4.3 miles of administrative roads will be open to public recreational use.
  • Reduce impacts on soil erosion and water resources by closing or rerouting trails with excessive slopes and reducing water crossings.
  • Take roughly 5-years to implement. Progress can be found on the park’s website.

The FONSI, EA and related documents are available on the NPS Planning, Environment and Public Comment website. The FONSI establishes…

Mohegan fiscal report: Company looks to refinance INSPIRE resort debt

Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority has released operating results for its fourth quarter and full fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2024, with a big jump in net revenue as the headline grabber. According to the report, Mohegan saw its second highest quarterly net revenue in company history, up 12% year over year. Mohegan Digital net revenue was up $60.1 million year over year.

The Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in South Korea, which opened in March 2024, generated net revenue of $62.2 million.

Mohegan INSPIRE, located at Incheon International Airport in Yeongjong Island, South Korea, features three hotel towers, totaling 1,275 rooms, a 15,000-seat multi-purpose arena, an indoor water park, an outdoor entertainment park, and a casino exclusive for foreigners, as well as shopping, dining and entertainment.

According to reporting, Mohegan is seeking to refinance debt incurred with the construction of INSPIRE, a $1.7 billion resort, to stave off a default.

As well as INSPIRE, Mohegan’s U.S. properties include resorts in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New Jersey, and Washington. Mohegan also operates Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls.

“It’s been 30 years since the Mohegan Tribe was granted federal recognition in 1994, and in that time since we opened the Mohegan Sun here in Connecticut, we have transformed Mohegan from a regional, single casino, into one of the premier global integrated omni-channel resort operators,” said Raymond Pineault, Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan. “This year marks the culmination of a number of important initiatives which enables us to build on these accomplishments and remain focused on executing our strategy.”

Net revenues in Q4 increased $54.3 million year over year to $497.7 million, primarily due to the continued growth of Mohegan Digital and revenue from INSPIRE. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA of $81.3 million for Q4 decreased $6.8 million compared with the prior-year period.

For the full year, net revenues of $1.9 billion…

WILKES-BARRE — Taydem Sanchez has been in this situation before. Two weeks to the day, to be exact.

This time, there was additional pressure.

Needing a win in her 190-pound match against Nanticoke Area’s Michelle Pastuizaca to clinch the Wyoming Valley Conference girls team championship for Wilkes-Barre Area, the sophomore felt nerves.

Sanchez just faced the Trojanette in the Hanover Area Hawkeye Holiday Classic at the end of December, rallying from a big deficit in that match to claim her first varsity title.

Saturday, wrestling inside her home gym, she did it again.

Down, 7-0, after the first period, Sanchez caught Pastuizaca with a half and stuck her shoulders to the mat for the early, second-period pin to win the 190-pound WVC…

Mayor Launches Year-Long Celebration of New York City’s 400th Anniversary

There will be many commemorative events to highlight city’s resilience, diverse history and cultural legacy.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced Founded By NYC, a year-long initiative to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city’s founding.

Launched on New Years Eve, the celebration aims to showcase the creativity, resilience and diversity that have defined the city over the centuries. In partnership with NYC Tourism + Conventions, the program will honor New York’s history while spotlighting the voices of marginalized communities, including Indigenous people, women and people of color.

“For four centuries, history has happened here,” said Adams. “And in 2025, through our ‘Founded By NYC’ campaign, we will celebrate all those who came here from around the world over those 400 years to build our great city — the New Yorkers whose vibrant culture, innovation, and abilities continue to make us the envy of the world today.

The mayor said the city’s history has not been without its challenges, and that the story of New York City began a millennia ago, long before the Dutch arrived,  This land was inhabited by the Lenape people, Adams said.

The mayor emphasized the importance of recognizing the complex and diverse history of the city, stating, “To properly recognize our city’s complex, diverse and unparalleled history, we must also acknowledge the painful parts of its origin, and ensure we are celebrating the Lenape’s rich contributions to our city as much as anyone else’s. The story of New York City is one of perseverance and triumph, and, in 2025, we will show the world why we are the greatest city in the world.”

A Year of Celebration and Reflection

The Founded By NYC campaign invites organizations to submit events that highlight historical significance, cultural impact, innovation and sustainability. Events will span art, music, film and more, with citywide programming that…
